At the heart of Savathun's lies a sunken Pyramid, concealing the imprisoned Disciple. Your mission as a Guardian is to venture deep into the swamps, facing perilous challenges and preventing the Disciple from sealing the Light from the Throne World with the help of the Ascended One. This raid, released as part of the WQ expansion in March, promises an unforgettable experience for seasoned players seeking the ultimate test of their abilities.
As the dungeon commences, characters will spawn at the entry, greeted by the imposing Savathun and a legion of defenders. Eliminating the Savathun will dispel all mobs, allowing your go to progress further. A short Sparrow section awaits, leading you to the start location of the raid.
To activate this location, players must approach the payload and bring it to life. Then commence its advance to the Pyramid, pausing at six points along the way. At every step, waves of Scorn, including the formidable Knowledge Abominations, will emerge. Slaying these Abominations will drop Darkness shards, imbued with knowledge, to materialize. Collect these shards and go back to the payload to facilitate its progression. Be warned, for those who stray too far from the payload will succumb to the encroaching Pervading, which hinders vision and eventually leads to death.
Keen-eyed Guardians may discover 3 concealed shard switches. Activating these switches unlocks an optional chest, brimming with additional rewards.
As you progress deeper into the Pyramid, en route to the first encounter, you will encounter a room adorned with 26 symbols. Gaining knowledge of these runes and their names will prove invaluable throughout the raid. Keep a keen eye on the screen, as these runes will recur frequently, and understanding their identification will provide an advantage.
