Nether Vortex is the most contested crafting material in Phase 2. Every BiS crafted belt weapon and chest piece requires it. Belt of Blasting for cloth casters. Belt of Deep Shadow for rogues. Dragonstrike for melee. Stormherald for arena. Bloodmoon for hunters. The material drops from Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep at roughly 10 per full raid.
