Best in Region Mythic+ Titles Are Back — One Week to Hold Them
One of the better additions from Season 1 has come back: seasonal Mythic+ achievements and titles for whoever holds the region-best key in each dungeon. If you push keys seriously, this is the closest thing Mythic+ has to a leaderboard reward you can actually wear.
The mechanics are worth understanding properly, because the achievement and the title behave very differently.
How they are awarded
The achievements go out on the weekly reset to the players holding the region-best combination of key level and time for each dungeon. The achievement itself is a permanent Feat of Strength — once you have it, it is yours regardless of what happens afterwards.
The title is temporary. You keep it only for the week you hold the record, and it goes away when someone beats you. The upside is that you can reclaim it, week after week, as many times as you can keep the record.
Every Keystone Victor achievement
There is one per Season 2 dungeon, each with its own title: Temple of Sethraliss, Ruby Life Pools, Kings' Rest, Voidscar Arena, The Blinding Vale, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk and Altar of Fangs.
Eight dungeons means eight separate races running in parallel, which is more interesting than it sounds. A group with a genuinely strong route in one specific dungeon has a real shot at that dungeon's title without being the best group in the region overall.
Is it realistically achievable?
Being honest about this: the region-best key is a serious bar, and it is a moving one. You are competing against the players who do nothing else. But there are two things working in your favour that people underestimate.
First, it resets weekly. A quiet week, a dungeon that top groups are avoiding, or an unusually good pull can put you in the running in a way that a static leaderboard never would. Second, the record is level and time combined, not raw level — a clean, fast run at a sensible key can beat a scrappy higher one.
What it does need is the item level to actually survive at that key range, and that is where most people stall out long before the leaderboard becomes relevant. Getting your Keystone Myth range first is the sane order of operations.
